Go to Settings → Account → Reset Progress. Note: this action is permanent and cannot be undone. All learned words and streaks will be cleared.

Go to Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, ensure you are logged in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase, then contact us.

Bamboo Chinese uses the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve algorithm. After you rate a word as "Got it" or "Forgot", the system schedules the next review at the optimal time — short intervals for difficult words, longer intervals for mastered ones.

Every time you answer a question incorrectly, that item is added to your Wrong Answer Book. The app will keep re-testing those items in future sessions until you answer them correctly multiple times in a row.

Core vocabulary exercises are available offline once content has been downloaded. Listening exercises and some features require an internet connection.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Bamboo Chinese and tap Cancel Subscription.

HSK 1 and a portion of HSK 2 are free. HSK 3–6 and unlimited review sessions require a Premium subscription.

Please make sure your device is not in Silent mode and the volume is turned up. If the issue continues, try closing and reopening the app, or reinstalling it.
